Seder Meal and Ritual, 1970
Rabbi Genuth's religious teachings encouraged "a happy combination of yesterday, today and tomorrow." Temple Beth-El offered full Torah education for children, and provided its congregants guidance along the path to a kosher home. Through sermons and published essays, the Rabbi regularly advocated for racial integration, women's rights, the preservation of Judaic traditions and religious observances, support of Israel and Americanism. Temple Beth-El was to foster "a living religion in a modern city." | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Digital Photograph Collection
