The Kinsman Jewish Center, established in 1930 as B'nai Jacob Kol Israel Congregation, was located at the corner of East 147th Street and Kinsman Road in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Rabbi Genuth acted as spiritual leader of the congregation from December, 1933, until his resignation in June, 1950.
