Kinsman Jewish Center, 1945
The Kinsman Jewish Center, established in 1930 as B'nai Jacob Kol Israel Congregation, was located at the corner of East 147th Street and Kinsman Road in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Rabbi Genuth acted as spiritual leader of the congregation from December, 1933, until his resignation in June, 1950. Upon his election, the Rabbi immediately organized a Hebrew School, a Sunday School, a Young Men's Club, a Talmud class for elders, and a Junior League Bible class. | Source: Cleveland State University, Michael Schwartz Library, Special Collections
