This early rendering of the Peerless Motor Car Co. plant, facing south, shows the auto factory's wings and smokestacks. Designed by J. Milton Dyer and built in 1906, the factory converted to the production of Carling beer in the Great Depression. The brewery operated for the next five decades. After its demolition, the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center was built on the site in 2009. | Date: ca. 1906 | Source: Library of CongressDownload Original File
