A important intersection

A important intersection
This 1927-1937 Cleveland Plat Map shows that, during that time period, all four corners of the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and West 32nd Street were occupied by important west side institutional buildings. The West Side YMCA, Franklin Boulevard Methodist-Episcopal Church, the West Side YWCA, and Fairview Park Hospital were all located at that intersection, and Lourdes Academy, a private girls high school, was located just to the east of the YWCA campus. Of these, only the YMCA and YWCA buildings remain standing today. | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Digital Map Collection
