Cuyahoga County Public Library operated out of Shaker Heights High School Library from 1924 to 1937. Following the opening of an additional branch at Moreland Elementary School, the facility housed services for junior high and high school students. Classes in use of the catalog and location of books were provided to students. While remaining open to the public, early experiments in providing night hours proved unsuccessful.
