A fixture at 4203 Clark Avenue for decades, Bachna Studio was owned by Joseph Bachna, Sr., a professionally trained photographer, who photographed many events at Ceska Sin Sokol Hall beginning in the decade of the 1920s. His four sons all became Sokol gymnasts and one, Rudy, in 1959 founded the renowned Kent State University college gymnastics program.
