This map shows the Andrews Estate (labeled Jennie V. Andrews) and the area surrounding it in 1914. At the bottom of the image (unlabeled) is Detroit Avenue, running left to right (or west to east).

As can clearly be seen, by this time the French-Andrews orchards, once located between Lakeland and Andrews Avenues north to Lake Erie, had been developed into residential streets.
