This rare photo of Thomas Axworthy's grand house on Lake Avenue was found in an album of John Bousfield, who was a Franklin Boulevard neighbor of Axworthy. The man sitting on the lawn is John Bousfield and the photo has a notation that it was taken in 1888 at the Axworthy House misidentified by Bousfield as on Detroit Street.
