Ukrainian Labor Temple
The Ukrainian Labor Temple, constructed in 1927, is located at West 11th Street and Auburn Avenue in Tremont. It served as both a Ukrainian cultural center and the meeting place of the Ukrainian Communist Party in Cleveland. It was also a speakeasy during Prohibition. In 1989, the building was converted into an art and design studio. | Creator: CSU Center for Public History + Digital Humanities | Date: 2009
