This map shows the annexations of parts of Newburgh Village and Township by the City of Cleveland during the period 1836-1909, most of it occurring after Newburgh began transforming into a steel production center in northeast Ohio in the 1850s. Today, tiny Newburgh Heights is all that is left of original Newburgh Township. The Fuller-Collins House on Miles Avenue was located on a three-acre lot just east of and outside Newburgh territory annexed to Cleveland in 1873.
