President Clark and Mayor Ralph Locher, 1963
Taken in 1963, this picture shows the Garden Center President Mrs. Clark shows Mayor Ralph Locher the plans for the new home of the Garden Center. Mrs. Clark also was an important advocate of landscaping the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, where her husband served as treasurer and board member. She further supported several other cultural institutions, including a term as president of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
