One of four buildings that shared a common design, the second Coventry opened to elementary students in 1976. The "open classroom" concept, coupled with the exterior architecture, would not endear these new buildings to the community. With declines in enrollment, Coventry was closed as a school in 2006 amid much controversy. Thereafter, the building was repurposed to house a number of non-profits and start-up companies. In 2018 the school board sold the building and adjacent park to Heights Libraries for $1, and in 2025 the library system closed the old school, citing maintenance costs among other concerns. | Source: CH-UH City School DistrictDownload Original File
