Coliseum Party Center

Coliseum Party Center
In 1964, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers closed their research laboratory operated out of the Allen-Sullivan House and sold the property to Mary Fisco, the spouse of Benjamin Fisco, an Italian immigrant, who restored the house to the condition that existed when it was the Sons of Italy Ohio Grand Lodge. He then opened a party center there known as The Coliseum (or Colosseum) Party Center. It was operated out of the house and auditorium until approximately the late 1990s, just a few years after the death of Benjamin Fisco. This photograph was taken in 1968. | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Digital Photograph Collection
