Dunbar Life Insurance Company Postcard #2
The Company’s office before the merger with Supreme Liberty Life Insurance Company was at 7609 Euclid Avenue in 1958. The former homes of Dunbar Life would become the Dunbar Division of Supreme Life. During the years that Dunbar Life operated, stockholders received only a dividend on their investments due to Clarke’s insistence on using the company’s profits to expand the company’s operations. The merger gave stockholders in the company shares valued at $46 each. | Date: ca. 1958 | Source: Cleveland Memory Project, Cleveland State University Library Special Collections
