Shaker Heights Public Library on Lee Road
The Lee Road Library was designed by Charles Bacon Rowley & Associates. Charles Rowley, founder of the architectural firm, had also designed the Kinsman-Lee storefront library. The Main Library's basement was renovated in 1965 as a Young Adult Room. A new stairway was constructed at the entrance to provide convenient access to the refurbished space. | Source: Shaker Heights Public Library, Local History Collection
