This photo, taken in 1930, provides a view of the front facade of Moreland Elementary School, facing north toward South Moreland (now Van Aken) Boulevard. Originally called Lee-Moreland School for the two streets located nearest to it, by 1940 the school was referred to simply as Moreland Elementary School.
