Reverend George Ramon Castillo, 1970
Reverend Castillo originally hailed from the territory of British Honduras, and had served in the Air Force for nine years. After graduating from the University of Maine and Bangor Theological Seminary and being ordained in 1967, he worked as a pastor in Detroit until being called to Cleveland. Castillo received a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology in May of 1973, one month prior to taking his position with the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary in Georgia. | Source: Cleveland Public Library Photograph Collection
