The area circled in red on this section of the 1922 Hopkins Plat map shows the lots on Vermont and Detroit Avenues west of West 25th street that were cleared of buildings in 1917 to create the fan-shaped entrance way onto Bulkley Boulevard (today, the Shoreway).
