Shown here as he appeared two years before his tragic death, Isaac Kidd was a native west-side Clevelander, who grew up on Birch (West 50th) Street during the years 1888-1902. He attended West High school, delivered one of the school's commencement addresses when he graduated in 1902, and then departed Cleveland for the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. That was followed by a successful career in the Navy cut short on December 7, 1941. | Creator: Collection, Archives Branch, Naval History and Heritage Command, Washington, DCDownload Original File
