The Ballroom

The Ballroom
During the 1910 renovations to the Sachensheim, a large ballroom was added to the second floor. In the front of the ballroom is a stage upon which members of the Transylvanian Theater society once performed. Upon the walls of the room are plaques showing the coat of arms for the each of the original seven Saxon settlements in Transylvania. This 2014 photograph shows the present-day condition of the ballroom, which is still today used for many neighborhood events, including weddings and showers. | Source: Jim Dubelko
