The Chagrin River

The Chagrin River
The towns of Chagrin Falls, Bentleyville and Griffithsburg were all founded along the Chagrin River in the 1830s. Speculators, such as James Griffiths, were attracted to areas where the speed and volume of its waters could be utilized to develop industry and attract farmers.
