Ruins of Henry Hoffman Brewery
This 1886-1887 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map reveals the condition of the Hoffman residence and brewery subsequent to the July 25, 1886 fire. Note that, according to the map, the house was being used in this period as a store. Nearby, across the street from the house, is the old Walton Elementary School Building built in 1878.
