Transacting Business at the Stockyards
On an almost daily basis, buyers from the nearby packinghouses would come to the Cleveland Union Stockyards to buy cattle, hogs and/or sheep. In this 1946 photo, buyers negotiate with a seller's commission agents to purchase the cattle in the nearby pen. They hope they don't get a bum steer!
