The Slovak Institute is housed in St. Andrew Svorad Abbey (shown above), which is located on grounds near the intersection of Buckeye Road and MLK Boulevard in Cleveland. Also on the grounds is Benedictine High School, which was founded in 1927 as the first Slovak Catholic boy's high school in the United States.
