Panorama: White Autos Vs. Johnstown, 1915
With the first game of the intercity series delayed due to a downpour that left Brookside Park's baseball diamond under several inches of mud and water, the president of NABA ordered the series cut to one game. The instructions were ignored by the teams' backers. Following a win by Johnstown on their home field, the two teams met to play a double header at what was then known as Brookside Park. Attendance in Cleveland was estimated at between 65,000 and 70,000. | Date: 1915 | Source: Library of Congress
