By the early 1960s, Forest Hill Church was growing by leaps and bounds. This photo in a church booklet at that time illustrates the phenomenal expansion. The congregration, numbering 1,936, reportedly included 148 babies and toddlers. The booklet forecast that the church would continue to grow to 2,400 members by 1965, by which time a leveling off was expected.
