Nickel Plate Railroad, 1957
The Nickel Plate Railroad begun in 1881 and was intended to be a direct line from Cleveland to Chicago. The railroad existed until 1964 when it merged with Norfolk and Western Railroad. Operating out of the Cleveland Union Terminal, Nickel Plate Railroad traveled through Cedar Glen to and from the city center.
