Postcard of the Overlook, ca. 1905
This house on Overlook Road, now mostly shielded from view by trees, was part of the Euclid Heights allotment. The allotment was planned by Patrick Calhoun in 1892. After he donated a sizable tract of land to the city of Cleveland, Calhoun requested that he be allowed to operate a street railway service through Cedar Glen in order to sustain and extend his allotment.
