Peaceful Shaker Village, 1927
"Six hundred feet up, above the smoky city, and miles beyond the reach of its noise and turmoil." Shaker Village was advertised as the antithesis of urban life by the Van Sweringen Co. in their publication "Peaceful Shaker Village."
