Van Sweringen Residence
Originally constructed between 1909 and 1912, the house was enlarged and renovated in 1924 by Phillip Small. Best known for his work in helping to conceive and design Shaker Square, Small was active in the development of residential homes, apartment buildings, and commercial structures throughout Shaker Heights during his 40-year career in the Cleveland area. | Source: Shaker Historical Society
