The 19th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Flag
In the spring of 1861, the 19th Ohio Volunteer Infantry was organized at Camp Taylor. At first the 19th was only a three-months regiment, but it later was reorganized for a three years term. In 1862-1863 the 19th fought in the Battle of Stones River. It then fought at Chickamauga in September of 1863 and Mission Ridge in November of 1863. The regiment was mustered out of service on November 25th, 1865.
