The youngest daughter of Anton Zverina Jr. and his wife Rose, Frances was a Cleveland public school teacher and an avid horticulturalist. After her mother's death in 1962, she and her brother donated the Zverina Log House and land upon which it stood to the Cleveland School Board for use as a school garden. Afterwards, she actively participated in the renovation of the log house and its grounds, and devoted much of her time to teaching Cleveland school children about herbs and their medicinal benefits. This 1925 photo is from her senior year as a student at Western Reserve University. | Date: 1925 | Source: Ancestry.comDownload Original File
