Charles Chesnutt's house at 64 Brenton (later, 2212 E. 73rd Street), where he wrote his early short stories and most of his novels, is no longer standing. It appears that the only photograph remaining of that house is this interior one of Chesnutt's library in that house . | Date: circa 1900 | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Collections related to Charles W.
