Dime Museum in Commercial Building
Frank Drew's Dime Museum was located in the Commercial Building, a four-story business block on the north side of Superior Street (now Superior Avenue) where the Sherwin-Williams headquarters tower is now located. At the time this photo was taken, Cowell & Hubbard jewelers (later to move to Euclid Avenue) and C. H. Fuller & Co., sellers of hats, caps, and furs, also occupied the building. This photo, credited simply as CSU/Press, appears in Drew Rolik's unpublished history of the Warehouse District. | Date: ca. 1884 | Source: Cleveland Press
