Completed Cathedral Complex

Completed Cathedral Complex
Renovations completed in the 1940s brought a new exterior surface of sandstone to the cathedral. Note the spire and parapets were removed and a new bell tower was constructed to complete exterior work that exists at present. By the 1960s, the cathedral complex included the cathedral, rectory, chancery, St. Johns College, and St. Johns dormitory (left). | Creator: Nelson Jones; Color by Rey Jones | Date: 1965 | Source: Tichnor Brothers Collection, Boston Public Library
