Harness racing, or trotting, was the mode of racing at Randall Park and then at Thistledown through the 1930s. In harness racing, a horse pulls a small two-wheeled carriage called a sulky. Trotting declined in popularity and thoroughbred racing became the norm at both tracks, especially after World War II. | Creator: Cleveland Notion Co. | Date: ca. 1915Download Original File
