Chamber of Commerce Building

The Chamber of Commerce Building once occupied the land where Key Tower stands. In this 1916 photo, a sign calls attention to the Committee of One Hundred Organizations, chaired by William Ganson Rose, and its call to vote for Public Hall. Voters went on to approve the bond issue by nearly a 4-1 margin in April 1916 to build Public Auditorium on the Mall. | Date: 1916
