St. Luke's Hospital

St. Luke's Hospital
In 1908, St. Luke's Hospital moved from its original location on Woodland Avenue to this new building at 6606 Carnegie Avenue designed by architect Frederic William Striebinger. When the hospital moved to a new and larger facility on Shaker Boulevard in 1927, the building on Carnegie Avenue became home to Polyclinic Hospital for the next 50 years. Today, it is the home of Cityview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. | Source: Cleveland State University, Michael Schwartz Library, Special Collections
