The Shoreway was a WPA-built upgrade of the old Bulkley Boulevard on the West Side to expressway status. Completed in 1938, it created a formidable barrier in the middle of Edgewater Park. When finally completed on the East Side in 1953, after more than a decade of construction in phases, Cleveland's Shoreway cut directly through Gordon Park. | Creator: Herman Seid | Date: September 10, 1951 | Source: Cleveland Memory Project, Cleveland State University Library Special CollectionsDownload Original File
