Located on Franklin Boulevard near West 68th Street, this building, which was constructed in 1902, served as West High until the school merged with Lincoln High to form Lincoln-West High School in 1970. After the merger, it was home to West Junior High School until it was torn down in 1977 to make room for the new Joseph M. Gallagher Junior High School.
