A Very Small Park

A Very Small Park
On February 21, 1926--possibly a slow news day in Cleveland, the Plain Dealer published an article about the history of the little park at the northwest corner of West 25th Street and Detroit Avenue that had been named in 1921 in honor of Bernard "Brick" Masterson, known as "Mayor of the Angle." The article was accompanied by the above humorous cartoon. | Source: Cleveland State University, Michael Schwartz Library, Special Collections
