This grand Italianate house was built on the southwest corner of Franklin Boulevard and West 50th Street in 1874. In 1882, it was acquired by Teresa Roberts, wife of Cleveland entrepreneur William J. Roberts. In this circa 1882 photo,Teresa Roberts stands outside the house, undoubtedly keeping an eye on one of her sons and what appears to be the family dog.
