Camp Euclid Open House, 1938
Celebrating the 5th anniversary of the CCC's founding, Camp Euclid hosted 2,000 visitors during it annual open house. Unlike many New Deal programs that were either dismantled by the Supreme Court or modified by Roosevelt's administration in response to opposition, the CCC was incredibly popular with the public and consistently backed by both Democrats and Republicans. | Source: Courtesy of Cleveland Metroparks
