This map reveals the location of the settlements of the Carpo-Rusyn ethnic group in Europe in the early twentieth century. As the map reveals, Rusyn settlements straddled the border between the Kingdoms of Hungary and Galicia. Today this region is parts of modern day Poland, Slovakia and the Ukraine.
