Hay and corn were the main crops produced at the Halle Farm. The farm was run and maintained by the Burnett family, who lived there year-round. Besides raising crops, the Burnetts took care of the Halle horses and other livestock. Besides the stable, the Halles built a vineyard, granery, creamery, ice house, and other farm structures. | Source: Lake Metroparks Archives, Don Strock Conservation LibraryDownload Original File
