The Great Lakes Brewery Brewpub on Market Avenue is made up of three buildings constructed during the 1860s. The buildings once hosted The Elton Hotel, McClean's Feed & Seed Company, and the Market Tavern. The Market Tavern, a favorite spot of Elliot Ness when he served as Cleveland's Safety Director during the 1930s, is now known as the Taproom and features an original 1860s mahogany bar. | Creator: CSU Center For Public History and Digital Humanities | Date: 2011Download Original File
