Low Cost Demonstration House

Low Cost Demonstration House
The American Legion, which was located in an old stone house located on Euclid Avenue where CSU's main plaza is today, sponsored a low cost demonstration house that was a mere 28 x 21 feet in its front yard. This small house, which would have easily fit inside the modern-day CSU Student Center's atrium, was appropriate to a time when few Americans could imagine affording to build a new home. | Date: June 18, 1939 | Source: Plain Dealer Archives / Cleveland Public Library
