This photograph presents almost the identical view of the Children's Room at the Carnegie West branch library in or about the year the it opened. The only difference is that this photograph is evidence of how instantly popular the Children's Room was with neighborhood children. Note that the windows are closed in this photograph and the children are wearing winter coats. This photo may have been taken months after the May opening, in the winter of 1910-1911. | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Library ArchivesDownload Original File
