Cleveland Housing Court Judge Ray Pianka (1951-2017), who championed the rebuilding of many Cleveland neighborhoods, including Ohio City, held a re-election campaign fundraiser at the Sarah Bousfield House in September 2001, shortly after it had been restored and renovated by owners Dr. James Hauer and Richard Turnbull.
