Day Camp

Day Camp
Shortly after opening Parker's Ranch in 1929, Adele von Ohl Parker started a day camp for school aged children on Parker's Ranch. Children learned how to ride, how to care for horses, and how to work on a ranch. Transportation to and from the ranch, if needed, was provided. In this 1940 photo, children disembark from Parker's station wagon at Parker's Ranch. | Source: Cleveland State University, Michael Schwartz Library, Special Collections
